5 Big Brother stars (individuals or couples) who have won other reality TV shows
Winning on Big Brother can be a lucrative and life-changing event, no matter what country it is played in, and a decent number of past BB alumni have gone on to compete on The Challenge, Survivor, The Amazing Race, The Traitors, and other shows.
Let’s take a look at three individuals and two couples who went on to win the shows they competed on after, or before, spending their time in the famous Big Brother house.
Cirie Fields
After winning season 1 of the US version of The Traitors, Cirie Fields headed straight to Studio City, California to spend time in the Big Brother house, with of all people, one of her three children, her son Jared, on Big Brother 25 in 2023.
Cirie was on four different seasons of Survivor (Panama, Micronesia, Heroes vs Villains, and Game Changers), and although she never won the famous CBS show, the Jersey City, New Jersey native really made a name for herself and was ultimately invited to compete on some other shows.
One was Snake In The Grass (USA Network), where Cirie was a co-winner of the show—which was canceled after just one season—along with two other Big Brother legends, Janelle Pierzina and Rachel Reilly. The three split $100,000.
Then Cirie went on the play in the first season of The Traitors where she actually was one of the Traitors and walked off with the $250,000 prize money, beating runners-up (and Faithfuls) Quentin Jiles and Andie Vanacore.
After that, Cirie, now 54, went to BB25 where the surgical director finished in fifth place and was evicted on Day 93. So she won The Traitors, was a co-winner on Snake In The Grass, finished in third place on Survivor: Micronesia and was in the top six three times, and finished in fifth place on Big Brother 25? Not bad. Not bad at all.
Kaycee Clark
Kaycee Clark won Big Brother 20 along with the $500,000 grand prize, and then the former pro football player went on to compete in five seasons of MTV’s The Challenge (Total Madness, Double Agents, Spies, Lies & Allies, Ride or Dies, and the current Battle of The Eras (MTV, Wednesdays 8 ET/8 PT).
The now 36-year-old, a native of San Diego, won the Spies, Lies & Allies season, teaming up with CT Tamburello in the Final—his fifth time being a Challenge Champion. In the previous season (No. 36) of The Challenge (Double agents), CT teamed up and won with another former Big Brother player, Amber Borzotra (Big Brother 16).
Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson
Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson met on Big Brother 19, and quickly bonded. Jessica finished in 12th place and was evicted on Day 51 while Cody went the following week and finished 11th and was evicted on Day 58.
But the two bounced back in a big way, with Cody and his then-fiancée winning The Amazing Race 30, traveling over 29,000 miles together, competing on four continents and 10 countries en route to the victory and the $1,000,000 prize.
The two are now happily married and live in Cody’s home state of Texas and have four beautiful children, Maverick, Carter, Atlas, and Gemma.
Claire Rehfuss and Derek Xiao
Claire Rehfuss and Derek Xiao also met on Big Brother on Big Brother 23, where Derek was evicted on Day 51 and Claire on Day 65 on the season won by Xavier Prather.
The two would go on to compete on season 34 of The Amazing Race where they won and became the second couple from Big Brother to win TAR. For their efforts across three continents, more than 11,000 miles, and 10 legs, Claire and Derek won $1,000,000.
Unlike Jessica and Cody, Claire and Derek never married but are still very close. Derek also participated in The Challenge: USA.
Rachel Reilly
Rachel Reilly has become reality TV show royalty, appearing in at least five different shows and winning three of them. The now-40-year-old redhead from Concord, North Carolina first appeared on our TV screens on Big Brother 12 where she met and teamed up with her future husband Brendon Villegas.
Rachel returned a season later and was the winner of Big Brother 13, beating Porsche Briggs in an all-women Final 2 and taking home the $500,000 grand prize. Rachel would then go on and compete with Brendon and her sister Elissa (Slater)—also a Big Brother alum (15)—on The Amazing Race 20, The Amazing Race 20, The Amazing Race 24, and The Amazing Race 31.
Then the woman who coined the phrase, “Floaters, you better grab a life vest” would notch her second reality TV win on Celebrity Fear Factor before being one of those aforementioned three past Big Brother ladies to be a co-winner on that only season of Snake In The Grass.
We last saw Rachel on season 2 of The Traitors, where she was one of the Faithfuls and was banished in episode 8. So will we see Rachel (and maybe Brendon) in a future Big Brother: All-Stars season, Big Brother: Reindeer Games, or another reality TV show?
Rachel and Brendon have kids now and responsibilities so although shows like Survivor, The Amazing Race, and The Challenge are probably out of the question, seeing Rachel one more time might not be.
