Turns out the Big Brother Reindeer Games season 2 cast didn’t leak after all

It’s been quite a roller coaster ride for Big Brother fans hoping for a second season of the show’s holiday spinoff series Big Brother Reindeer Games. 

In mid-September, a TikTok video from Big Brother insider Tommy Italiano went viral as he broke down the leaked cast for Big Brother Reindeer Games season 2. The video stemmed from a tweet from a Big Brother fan account on Twitter which made it look as though the cast for a second season had leaked. 

The tweet in question claimed that the Big Brother Reindeer Games season 2 cast had leaked with the following names reported to be appearing in the second season of the holiday special: Tucker Des Lauriers (Season 26), Rachel Reilly (Seasons 12 and 13), Hisam Goueli (Season 25), Michael Bruner (Season 24), Da’Vonne Rogers (Seasons 17, 18, and 22), Derek Xiao (Season 23), Cedric Hodges (Season 26), Libra Thompson (Season 10) and Vanessa Rousso (Season 17).

Fans were thrilled about the rumored cast list as it seemed to not only confirm the show’s return but also confirm the returns of several iconic and beloved players from the show, many of who fans have been hoping might return in some capacity after they became fan-favorites during their seasons. 

The leak seemed legit at first, but it’s since been confirmed by the original source of the reportedly leaked cast list that the tweet behind the viral TikTok video was nothing more than a made-up wish list. 

That’s right, the rumored Big Brother Reindeer Games cast list that "leaked online" was nothing more than a farce and holds no truth at all. Honestly, it’s a bit of a shame as there were some really great former players on that “leaked” cast list and it would have been fun to see them compete in a season of Reindeer Games. 

Now, that’s not to say the names on the leaked list couldn’t compete in a second season of Big Brother Reindeer Games should CBS officially order another season of the holiday spinoff. We’ll just have to wait until CBS drops an official announcement to know for certain whether the show is coming back and who will return to the Big Brother house to compete in the Reindeer Games fun.

Given the original season of Big Brother Reindeer Games was announced timed to the end of season 25, we're hoping CBS will make an offical announcement as to whether Reindeer Games will return this December during or around the season 26 finale this October!
