The Big Brother 26 finale is coming soon: Here's when the season will end this year!

It seems like Big Brother season 26 only just started and yet the season is quickly coming to its end with just a few more episodes left before the series signs off until next year. 

Big Brother season 26 will come to an end on Sunday, Oct. 13 with a special super-sized finale event. The season finale will begin at a special time of 8:30 p.m. ET and the finale will be 30 minutes longer than your average episode, with the season ending with a special 90-minute finale event.

In the season finale, this season’s jury will deliberate and reward one lucky houseguest with the $750,000 grand prize. They won’t be the only houseguest leaving with some money, though as the second-place finisher will walk away with a cool $75,000 and America will send one player home with $50,000 and the title of America’s Favorite Houseguest. 

As for what we can expect from the final episode of the season? The season finale will see the final Head of Household of the season crowned as two of the final three houseguests compete in the third and final part of the three-party Head of Household competition. Sometime before the final stage of the three-part Head of Household competition, we should also get to see the annual jury roundtable -- though it remains to be seen who might moderate this year's roundtable.

Once the final HoH has been named, they’ll have one of the biggest decisions of their game to make in getting to decide who to bring with them to the Final 2 and which houseguest will become the final juror of the season. After the Final 2 have been decided, the jurors of the season will get the chance to grill the final two houseguests about their gameplay throughout the game before the Final 2 houseguests get the chance to make one final plea to the jury before the live vote for the season’s winner. 

After the jury members have cast their votes, host Julie Chen will reunite the jury members with the season’s other houseguests as they reflect on the season together before the votes are revealed and a new winner is crowned. 

This season has been full of surprises so there’s no telling who will make it to the end, and there’s also no telling whether the jury will let their emotions determine who they vote for or if they’ll vote based on who played the best game.
