No matter if the houseguest has a twin or not, fans love to speculate that Big Brother will bring back the Twins Twist.

We completely understand. This twist often kept fans on their toes, hoping that the twins wouldn't mess up and be found out. It also kept the houseguests hilariously suspicious if they had an inkling that there was something more to a particular houseguest.

All in all, it was a twist where everyone won!

The Twins Twist should be a Big Brother staple

The last time the Twins Twist was implemented was during season 17, and fans miss it every day. While we hope for a chance to see this twist return once more, we shared three reasons why the Twins Twist is a fun one and should return once every other season at the very least.

Having twins in the game keeps the fanbase reeled in

When there are twins in the games, we've noticed that fans pay far more attention to the season than they would normally do because fans now have two people to root for. What's more, with twins, fans are glued to live feeds and live episodes, hoping that both twins play an impeccable game (or an entertaining one) to not have their huge secret revealed.

Simply put, this twist is a win for fans and a win for viewership numbers!

If in every season fans wonder if a houseguest is a twin, it wouldn't be bad for the producers to include a pair of identical individuals now and then. After all, fans are what make Big Brother thrive. If a Twin Twist is what they want, let a Twin Twist be what they get.

Having twins in the game keeps players paranoid

Nothing was better than when Da'Vonne Rogers uncovered that Liv and Julia Nolan were identical twins playing the game at the same time, as Da'Vonne proved that she was very receptive to everything going on around her. While Da'Vonne is an anomaly since she is one of the few houseguests in history to be able to uncover a Twins Twist so easily, other houseguests definitely won't be able to pick up on the secret (much less, do something about it).

If the Twins Twist returns, we can only imagine how houseguests would react to figuring it out. What if that houseguest holds an entire meeting to call the twins out? What if they tell one twin a secret that the other one would never know? Or, even better, what if the houseguest has an entire meltdown over it when no one believes them? The possibilities are endless and it would be super entertaining to see, while also being something that keeps the players on their toes during a season where not much may be going on.

Having twins in the game is a (mostly) harmless twist

Above all, implementing the Twins Twist would be a fun addition to the game because it doesn't fundamentally change the game in the same way that other twists do.

For example, twists like the Dyre Fest or Camp Comeback were twists that seemed like they would work out on paper but turned out to be a total flop in actuality. Twists like these don't work because they're poorly timed or were being used on the wrong cast. Instead, it's because the twists are too convoluted and ruin the social integrity of the game.

The Twins Twist is as simple as twists come since they include just one person swapping back and forth in the house. The twist doesn't harm anyone nor does it switch up the game so much that it's unfair for other houseguests or the twins themselves. Rather, it's straightforward and fun. So much so that even if things don't go as planned, the Twins Twist is one everyone can look back and giggle about.

We truly will never know why it's been nine seasons since Big Brother has used the Twins Twist (or any family twist for that matter). Even so, we hope that season 27 or any future season includes the twist for some good, old-fashioned fun. Fingers crossed!
