Since the sixth episode of Hell’s Kitchen: Head Chefs Only was released on Thursday, why don’t we go into the top 3 moments of this episode? There were some exciting moments, especially on the red team this week. So here are the best moments from episode 6, "Hell on Wheels."

The Red Team’s fish station disaster

The Red Team lost the episode’s dinner service after having a great start. The women had all the appetizers out, and despite Brittany sending up an excess amount of meat on order, the women seemed to be moving along nicely. It wasn’t until one of the entrée orders required two halibut that things began to freefall.

The fish station that Magali and Meghan ran could not get the halibut cooked right, especially with Magali, who wanted to lead the station. The first attempt was brought back due to a salty glaze. On the second attempt, Magali overcooked the halibut, and the final effort that got them kicked out of the dinner service was a raw, ice-cold halibut. It worsened when the ladies were asked to put up two nominees.

The women nominated Brittany for her excessive meat mistake and Meghan for not pushing Magali off to let her cook the fish. Ramsay sent both back in line and asked Magali for her jacket, eliminating her from the competition.

Joe’s perfect pasta performance

When it comes to challenges based on the heritages of contestants and the food, this is where chefs usually thrive. In this episode’s challenge featuring a Pasta Pachinko machine, the Blue Team was counting on Joe, the blueblood Italian, who seemed perfect enough to win this challenge for the team, and luckily for Joe, his pasta dish worked out well.

With his take on fettuccine al gamberi with a tomato scampi sauce, a little bit of Fresno chili, and toasted breadcrumbs, he was able to impress husband and wife Michelin star chefs Angie Rito and Scott Tacinelli to earn the point for the Blue Team. When the competition came down to a tie, both Rito and Tacinelli said that Joe’s pasta dish was the best of the day, earning the blue team the victory.

Red Team’s failure to put Whit’s pasta over Brittany’s

On the other side of the challenge, Whit was asked to make one dish of the same pasta she chose to double up with. Then, the team must decide which dish represents the Red Team better. Whit chose the tortellini to do battle against Brittany. When the Red Team tasted both dishes, they felt that Brittany’s Gorgonzola mascarpone tortellini with lobster marsala was better than Whit’s take of shrimp and grits with tortellini with Sautee prawn and andouille sausage with a Cajun sauce.

When Brittany presented her dish, Tacinelli said that the combination of gorgonzola and lobster was a little strong, with both things fighting against each other. However, Rito liked it, so she gave Brittany the point. However, Tacielli liked Brandon’s tortellini better, which made it a tie game. After the Blue Team won the challenge, Whit was asked to bring down her dish to try, and both the chefs and Ramsay agreed that it should’ve been the dish up there, meaning it could’ve won the challenge for the women.
