From beach and elemental to technology and holiday, Big Brother has experimented with many themes that only make each season of the reality TV series more memorable.

Big Brother's house themes are so important that die-hard fans can recall the ins and outs of a room where an argument or an epic turn of events happened not just because of the people involved or what was said but because of the decorations that coincidentally add to the iconic aspect of the event.

Everyone remembers the peace signs ironically being displayed on the walls during Keesha and Libra's huge argument with half of the house on Big Brother season 10. Or the colorful rug on the floor juxtaposing all the crying during Dan's Funeral in season 14.

Simply put, themes are super important when it comes to remembering the seasons of Big Brother. So much so that we wanted to dabble in picking three themes that we think the American reality series should do next.

Big Brother should implement these themes for a fun season

Across the many seasons and spin-offs of Big Brother, the show has covered a plethora of themes. (They even did a Silicon Valley theme!) Even so, there are a few themes we think are long overdue.

American Cuisine

Food has always been implemented in Big Brother in some way or another. Be it being a Have Not forced to eat slop for an entire week or the alcohol deliveries the houseguests need to unwind, food is an essential indulgence that the show can manipulate anyhow. Why not use it as a theme?

A burger bed, a rotisserie chicken couch, and a chocolate cheesecake dinner table are all things that would be pretty cool to see the houseguests interact with. A Thanksgiving-style Head of Household room would be even better. But aside from the aesthetics, an American Cuisine theme could bring back the esteemed food comps!

Food comps dictated whether the houseguests would eat like kings or peasants for the week, unlike the current system where the houseguests would either volunteer or the Head of Household picked who are the Haves and Have-Nots. Comps like these have been shelved ever since season 10, but perhaps an American Cuisine theme would bring it back!

Magical Fantasy + Fairytales

In season 8 we saw Big Brother implement an Alice in Wonderland theme, which included a chess-inspired room as well as a bedroom full of colors and fun shapes. We would like to see the show go a step further and go all the way with the magical fantasy and/or fairytales.

The Head of Household room can be something that resembles Cinderella since the HOH is often the fairest of them all. For the Have Not room, it would be pretty cool for it to have underworld themes of fire or damnation. And, just for giggles, we can have the backyard look like The Little Mermaid, especially with the pool.

As for comps, the possibilities truly are endless. But we would love to see iconic competitions like BB Comics or Bowlerina where the houseguests are dressed like the Seven Dwarves. Even a Seesaw-style comp where the houseguest dress as Goldilocks and have to move a bowl of soup from one side to another. There are so many places a Magical Fantasy/Fairytale theme could go!

Slumber Party

Sleep is a huge part of Big Brother especially since the houseguests can't take naps and have set waking up time. Why not find some humor in the lack of sleep the houseguests get by hosting a huge slumber party?!

Since most rooms have a bed in them, the bedrooms can be extra cozy with a Slumber Party theme. Cookies and warm milk in the corner or counting sheep wallpapers will really make the rooms feel like a sleeping haven. Although Have-Not rooms have had sleeping bags in the past, we can bring them back once more for this theme. And, as for the kitchen and bathroom, all we can say is let these rooms be filled with fluffy pillows and blankets.

There's no doubt about it. The best type of competition to pair with this Slumber Party theme is endurance. The houseguests lose sleep when they have to stay propped up the whole time during your typical wall comp. However, another type of competition where the houseguests lose sleep the most was the iconic Pressure Cooker comp.

If a Slumber Party theme doesn't bring back the return of the OG Pressure Cooker (full of prizes and punishments) that we know and love, then we don't know what will!

Hopefully, Big Brother hears our deepest desires! In the meantime, our fingers will be crossed, hoping that the next seasons will see to one of these themes being implemented.
