Season 26 of Big Brother has been a bit of an experiment for CBS. That is because they decided to add an AI Twist to the season which included an AI arena, an extra nomination every week for the first few weeks, a week in the backyard run by JENKIE, and even a more vicious version of AINSLEY (the primary AI) after a week in the real world.

All things considered, the AI Twists have actually been some of the more interesting aspects of this Big Brother season. But it would be nice if they kept some of these twists in future seasons, just because of how it really shook up the house from the very beginning.

It often feels like Big Brother has an unofficial format that the players fall into when they first enter the BB House. But thanks to AINSLEY and the AI Twist this season, that didn't really happen. In fact, it actually seemed to get a lot of players playing hard from the very beginning, and it even made the usual alliances shift as people got the boot and others were more worried about the AI Arena over actually building relationships with each other.

You have to think that the addition of the AI Twists is a big reason that more of the "big threats" were sent home in the first few weeks. And at the same time, it allowed a player like Angela to not only make it to jury, but also to finish in sixth place when we might normally have seen her sent home within the first two or three weeks.

The AI Twists added something extra to Season 26 of Big Brother that could be beneficial in future seasons

Whether it is the AI Arena or the third nominee, the AI Twist for this season should definitely carry into Season 27 of Big Brother. Not only that, but it would be nice if they really expanded on the idea that they started in Season 26.

What if AINSLEY had more of a say in who was nominated in the future? Or what if AI was in charge of dividing the house? Honestly, there are so many ways that Big Brother could utilize their AI to shake things up in the house, and it would be interesting to see them carry this forward because then it is not like it was a gimmick to get people to watch the season. And it would make sense to bring AINSLEY and the AI Twists back because they really didn't lean into this aspect of the show nearly enough once they ended the AI Arena.

Considering they keep bringing Zingbot back every year, we don't see why they couldn't do the same thing with AINSLEY, but in more creative ways. If they really utilize their AI Twist, it could be a great way to keep things fresh and chaotic in the BB House.
