We're approaching the final stretch of Big Brother season 26, also known as the part in the game where a single Head of Household nomination ceremony as well as Veto Ceremony cannot be taken lightly. After all, sending the wrong person home or playing it too safe could be what decides the winner and what decides the poor, unfortunate soul who gets runner-up.

This week, Makensy Manbeck is HOH, which is a feat that only makes her season 26 resume look very impressive. But the only way that she can ensure that the jury members are very impressed with her second HOH win of the season, she must make careful moves to show she knows how to be strategic and can take risks.

How did Makensy make the most of her HOH win? Did she put up the only person truly standing in the way of her absolute victory? Here's what to know!

Makensy may have made a pivotal mistake with her nominees

To no one's surprise, Makensy Manbeck decided to put Rubina Bernabe and Kimo Apaka up for eviction. She reasoned that she wanted to finish off this duo once and for all since they'd been conjoined at the hip for a while. Additionally, with only Chelsie Baham and Cam Sullivan-Brown to choose from, her options were very limited.

To the house, Kimo and Rubina make the most sense. But to fans, this could've been the best week to take out Makensy's biggest competition, Chelsie. Fortunately, another Golden Power of Veto win for Makensy allows her to change the vote and put up someone who she should've in the first place. But did she do it?

Makensy opted to leave nominations the same, meaning either Rubina or Kimo will be evicted from the Big Brother house and will become the next juror.

Currently, Makensy is toying with the idea of sending Rubina out the door rather than Kimo. Chelsie and Cam want Makensy to make this decision since Rubina hasn't really offered much in the game to know exactly where she would stand. Also, if Rubina wound up in the Final 3, it wouldn't feel as fair as it would with Kimo.

In the same breath, Makensy may just want to go with her original plan and send Kimo out. But when weighing the cards, no matter who she sends out, the jury may think she played this week too safe. This could come back to bite her.
