Big Brother season 26 was a season full of unprecedented moments that will easily go down in the history of the iconic American reality TV series.
From Tucker Des Lauriers not using the Veto on himself and using it on Angela Murray instead to the shocking eviction of Cedric Hodges on Quinn Martin's Deepfake Head of Household (HOH), there were so many epic events that made our heads spin. But none of these events were as thrilling and electrifying as seeing which season 26 walked away with a victory when it was all said and done.
Without further ado, here is your champion of Big Brother season 26!
Warning: Spoilers ahead.
How Chelsie Baham won Big Brother season 26
To qualify for the final two positions for Big Brother, the remaining houseguests needed to win at least one of the season's final three competitions.
The two people who won the first two of the three competitions proceeded to the final competition where they will compete for the season's final win. The final Head of Household of the season would then choose who out of the remaining two options to take to the final two seats and later plead their case against the Jury.
With so much on the line, losing is not an option. And so, Chelsie Baham, Cam Sullivan-Brown, and Makensy Manbeck, the final three of the season, had to compete against each other to secure their respective wins.
For the first of the three HOH competitions, Chelsie, Cam, and Makensy went head-to-head in an endurance competition. They hung from a peculiar contraption that tested the strength of their muscles. And, as if struggling to stay up wasn't enough, goop and strange substances would droop on the houseguests, making it all the more difficult to hang on.
Makensy put up a good fight. But in the end, her strength failed her when she needed it the most. Not too long after, Cam dropped from the endurance comp, leaving Chelsie as the winner of the first part of the final HOH competition.
For the second installment of the final Head of Household, Cam and Makensy took part in an extensive puzzle. There were three stages of the puzzle in total, each with its own unique solution. Whoever completed each puzzle the fastest and shut down Ainsley, season 26's villain, once and for all, was crowned the winner of part two of the final Head of Household competition.
Cam struggled all season to secure the wins when it mattered the most. Although he gave it everything he had, he, sadly, fell short, relinquishing the win of part two of three to Makensy Manbeck.
Last but not least, the final installment of the final Head of Household competition of the season!
Undoubtedly, Chelsie and Makensy are comp beasts who have broken records left and right. These two going against each other was the most anticipated battle of the entire night. What better way to see who among these two is the best of them all than to give them a competition for the books?!
During the final showdown of the final HOH competition, Chelsie and Makensy had to identify which one of the statements was the incorrect statement of the ones given to them. Whoever answered the most answers correctly, took home the win for the final competition of the season.
Chelsie and Makensy were neck-and-neck for the majority of this competition. However, it was Makensy who got the most questions right, becoming the final HOH of the season and having the power to evict either Chelsie or Cam.
It was a difficult decision for Makensy. After all, whoever she chose could make or break whether she won the grand prize or not. In the end, Makensy decided to evict Cam Sullivan-Brown.
