Rarely does a player on Big Brother achieve success outside the house, but in Cody Calafiore's case, he is finding success in a completely different field. As someone who has gone from playing soccer to scoring guest appearances on reality television, Calafiore has had a fulfilling life. He looks to continue that path as he has found a new career calling.

Calafiore is quite the accomplished athlete. Early in his life, he attended Monmouth University and played competitive soccer. He went on to play soccer for the Temple Owls from 2010-2012. He was extremely good at the sport and got an invite from the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer (MLS) but his career ended when he suffered an ankle injury.

Remaining in excellent shape, he started to dabble in reality television and appeared in Big Brother season 16 in 2014. His gameplay was stellar but not good enough as he finished the season as the runner-up. That would not stop him from competing as he was crowned the winner of Big Brother 22: All-Stars in 2020. He would also compete in Big Brother Reindeer Games before competing on The Traitors.

The luxurious life of reality television may have to take a back seat for the time being as Calafiore has a lot on his plate nowadays. On October 22, 2022, he proposed to his seven-year girlfriend, Cristie LaRatta, and they tied the knot on February 16, 2024.

Another reason for a possible slowing of reality television is that Calafiore has found a new career. After his Big Brother 16 appearance, he signed with Soul Artist Management, a New York-based modeling agency. His modeling career is going quite well as he has appeared in several pieces, including Winq Magazine, LOVE Magazine, Men's Fitness, three editorials of The Fashionisto, and Risbel Magazine.

The 33-year-old from Hackensack, New Jersey, along with fellow Big Brother houseguest Derrick Levasseur, began doing a podcast, The Winner's Circle, in 2021. They have over 200 episodes and are a listen for all ages. They teamed up on Big Brother to establish one of the better alliances of all time: "The Hitmen." Together they won several Head of Household and Veto competitions during that season, putting themselves out there as a legitimate threat in the house.

Calafiore had a successful career before Big Brother, but now his life has taken a turn for the better. Now married, he may not be as involved in reality television as he once was. But he is staying busy in a suitable career and things are going well for him. Big Brother aside, he has done well for himself in other avenues.
