5 male reality TV stars we’d love to see in the Big Brother house
Between Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother, we have seen some amazing Reality TV stars inside the Big Brother house including Cirie Fields (Survivor) and Carson Kressley who was a Houseguest on Celebrity Big Brother 3 in 2022 and who was voted out on Day 24.
Here are five other guys from the Reality TV universe who we would love to lock in that house in a parking lot in Studio City, California, and see filmed 24/7 for the purposes of our own entertainment and viewing pleasure.
Johnny Bananas
His real name is Johnny Devenanzio, but reality TV fans know him as Johnny "Bananas," and few Americans have made more money and a career out of the genre like this guy. Best known for his appearances on MTV’s The Challenge, Johnny has won seven seasons as well as on the Champs vs Stars spinoff (Season 1).
Devenanzio first appeared on our TVs on The Real World (Season 17) back in 2006 and is still competing on The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras (Wednesdays, 8/7c, MTV) and would be a fantastic Houseguest on Big Brother, but probably come on too strong as we saw on Big Brother 26 with Tucker Des Lauriers.
Johnny "Bananas" is a graduate of Penn State University—one of the two schools BB26’sCam Sullivan-Brown played football at—and is now 42 years old and happily living in Fullerton, California where he has his own podcast, Death, Taxes, and Bananas on The Ringer Reality TV website. Bananas was also on Season 1 of House of Villains (E!).
Wes Bergmann
Wes Bergmann is a three-time champion on The Challenge, winning The Duel, Rivals II, and All Stars 3. The 39-year-old who calls Lawrence, Kansas home was on The Real World: Austin and has also been on other reality TV franchises.
Currently, you can catch Wes on Season 2 of E!’s House of Villains (Thursdays, 10 ET/PT) along with other reality TV stars like Theresa Giudice from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Richard Hatch from Survivor Borneo and Jessie Godderz from Big Brother 10.
Wes has said that he has retired from The Challenge. So maybe Big Brother and a crack at $750,000 would be a go?
CT Tamburello
His real name is Christopher Tambuerllo, but everyone in the reality TV sphere knows him as “CT.” Like Johnny “Bananas,” CT is best known for his work over the years on The Challenge and was also introduced to the world on The Real World: Paris in 2003.
An ideal personality to be on Big Brother or Celebrity Big Brother, CT was also on The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras, but was eliminated. But along with former The Challenge alum and friend Trishelle Cannatella, CT won The Traitors 2 last winter.
Richard Hatch
The first-ever winner of the CBS monster hit Survivor, (Survivor: Borneo) Richard Hatch would be an ideal Big Brother Houseguest, although he can come across as abrasive and might not be the best alliance member. But aren’t those the same traits that helped Josh Martinez become a winner on our favorite guilty pleasure?
Like Bananas and Wes, Richard was on House of Villains (Season 2) but was eliminated early on. Hatch is now 63 years old and was also on Survivor: All-Stars, The Biggest Loser: Temptation Nation, and The Apprentice (Season 11)
Andy Cohen
The host of Watch What Happens Live and the genius behind the The Real Housewives franchise on Bravo is Andy Cohen. Few people have created more reality stars than this huge St. Louis Cardinals fan and host extraordinaire.
And the great thing? Andy, a graduate of Boston University, is a huge Big Brother fan and has many past Houseguests on WWHL, usually as the bartender. Cohen is now 56 and although his busy schedule and Housewives commitments might prevent him from being on a season of Big Brother or Celebrity Big Brother, Cohen would be an absolute pleasure to watch and a very hard contestant for others to vote out and evict.
