With Big Brother Canada 8 now over, we decided to look back at the season. We will be going down the list of every Big Brother Canada 8 and detailing their best moves. Here are Hira Deol’s best moves.

Hira got off to a solid start to the season. A twist saw Canada vote to keep their favorites safe from eviction in week 1. There would be no Head of Household. Instead, the four people with the fewest votes were in jeopardy of leaving and would have three chances to save themselves: a physical competition, a mental competition, and through their social game. Canada voted to keep Hira safe.

In week 2, Chris Wyllie won HOH and nominated Hira alongside Brooke Warnock as pawns in his plan to backdoor Micheal Stubley. Hira won the POV that week to save himself and Chris named Micheal the replacement nominee. A luxury competition was also held that week and those who lasted the longest received a barbecue courtesy of Summer Fresh. Hira, Angie Tackie, John Luke Kieper, and Micheal won the competition. During the barbecue, John Luke and Micheal attempted to sway Hira and Angie’s votes. However, Hira aided Chris’ backdoor plan by voting evict Micheal. Micheal was evicted 9-3.

In week 3, Sheldon Jean won HOH and Hira was able to remain safe as the remainder of Micheal’s alliance and Minh-Ly Nguyen Cao became targets. In a twist, the two nominees and three players selected by random draw would compete as usual. However, each player selected to compete in the POV that week was able to pick a partner to compete with them. The player selected by random draw would win the POV while the person picked by the player chosen by random draw would win immunity. Hira was selected to play by Rianne Swanson. Hira and Rianne placed 2nd in the competition, losing to Madeline Di Nunzio and John Luke.

Madeline used the POV to save herself that week and Minh-Ly was named the replacement nominee. Wanting to get to the bottom of who was spreading lies about her, Minh-Ly confronted Vanessa Clements. However, Minh-Ly got nowhere with Vanessa and called a house meeting. During the house meeting, Jamar’s actions crossed the line, making Vanessa and Kyle Rozendal feel uncomfortable, resulting in his expulsion from the game. Two days later, Kyle was expelled for what production deemed “a pattern of problematic behavior.” Big Brother Canada hit the reset button and made Sheldon eligible to compete for HOH and cancelled the eviction.

In week 4, Hira was able to remain off the block again when Sheldon repeated as HOH. Carol Rosher informed Sheldon she wanted to be evicted on Thursday. Hira was one of the people intent on honoring Carol’s wishes. Sheldon nominated Carol alongside Minh-Ly.

Hira was selected to play in the POV competition that week and won. Since Carol Rosher had informed the house she wanted to be evicted on Thursday, he chose not to use it. However, on March 23, houseguests received the devastating news from executive producer/showrunner Erin Brock that Big Brother Canada 8 was coming to an early end due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) Pandemic. Hira departed the Big Brother Canada house at 4:47 pm on March 24.

Hira Deol’s best moves of Big Brother Canada 8

Hira’s best move was winning that week 1 POV. When you are on the block and don’t know who the target is, the safest thing to do is just go win the POV. That is not going to put a target on your back like winning when you have no reason to.
