Big Brother 17 contestant Vanessa Rousso gives birth to twins

Big Brother 17 contestant and famed professional poker player Vanessa Rousso has announced the birth of twins.

Vanessa Rousso is one of the best players in the history of Big Brother, period. Even though she did not win her season, her excellent skills on the felt of the poker table translated into an intense ability to read people. At the moment, she is an attorney, a DJ, and a professional poker player, ranked as the fourth-best female in the game.

Big Brother 17 was marked by her excellent gameplay despite Steve Moses’ eventual win over Liz Nolan on finale night. Vanessa Rousso went forward to finale night but was not taken to the final two seats.

Vanessa Rousso has entered into her next chapter of life after poker and Big Brother at the age of 37. According to her Instagram, Rousso has given birth to twins and now is the mother to three children — the other born two and a half weeks ago. Rousso actually got engaged to her long-time partner, Melissa Ouellet, at the Big Brother post-finale party in 2015.

It is wonderful to hear that Rousso is doing well after giving birth considering the severe circumstances of the process itself. Lorenzo Mark Rousso and London James Rousso were born prematurely and were stuck in the hospital with Vanessa for over a month — born on March 4.

Vanessa Rousso was one of the fiercest competitors in the history of the Big Brother show and one of the winningest female poker players in the history of the major tournaments. It is in her nature to fight and this time is no different.
