Big Brother Canada 8: The Award Goes to….

Big Brother Canada came to a pre-mature end recently due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) Pandemic. With the show over, we decided to give out some awards for the season.

Recently, Big Brother Canada came to a pre-mature end due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) Pandemic. Normally at the end of the season, there is an awards episode. During this episode, they give out awards for things such as “Best Moment” or “Best Meltdown” and give the fans the opportunity to weigh in on their favorite in each category. Since that is not happening this year, we decided to continue the tradition and give out our own awards.

We will have categories that are both serious and funny in nature. The next award we will give out is “Most Likely to be Evicted Next.” The person who we felt was most likely going to be evicted from the Big Brother Canada 8 house had the game continued on. We are not including Carol Rosher as a possibility since she wanted out.

The award goes to:

Minh-Ly Nguyen Cao. It really is difficult to envision Minh-Ly being around longer than another week or two. A combination of her volatile personality and coming on strong in the first safety competition among other things put a huge target. There also were no signs of a power shift coming any time soon. Sheldon’s alliance was absolutely dominating the competitions. The best chance for a power shift likely rested on Minh or Hira Deol’s shoulders.

As it stood, Minh-Ly was pretty lucky to still be in the game when the season ended. She was the backdoor target in week 3 and only survived due to Jamar Lee and Kyle Rozendal getting expelled from the game. In week 4 had she survived, it only would’ve been because of Carol’s desires to leave the game. Despite those desires, there were some who still wanted Minh-Ly out that week. With those factors, it is really difficult to envision her having lasted more than a week or two.
