The Power of Veto competition was played today in the Big Brother Canada house. Once feeds returned, we were able to figure out who won.

The POV competition was played tonight in the Big Brother Canada 8 house. The Big Brother Canada live feeds were down while the competition took place. However, once the live feeds returned, we were able to figure out what happened.

As previously reported, Sheldon Jean won Head of Household for the second straight week. He was declared eligible to play by production after the expulsions of Jamar Lee and Kyle Rozendal cut his Head of Household reign last week short. Carol Rosher also held a house meeting to tell the houseguests she wants to be evicted on Thursday. So, Sheldon nominated her alongside Minh-Ly Nguyen Cao for eviction.

Power of Veto players and results

Before we tell you who won the Power of Veto this week, we first have to tell you who was selected to play in the competition. The players for the Power of Veto this week (in addition to Carol and Minh-Ly) were Hira Deol, Chris Wyllie, and Vanessa Clements. John Luke Kieper hosted the competition.

The winner of the Power of Veto this week is…. Hira. This marks Hira’s second POV win of the season. His first came back in week 1 after he was nominated for eviction by Chris.

What happens next?

What happens next should be mostly clear. Hira will not use the Power of Veto this week. Since Carol wants out of the game, there is no need for him to use it. Barring something unforeseen, that also means Carol will leave the house on Thursday as per her wishes.
