With Big Brother Canada 8 on the horizon, we decided to look back at previous seasons. These are the 5 dumbest moves in Big Brother Canada history.

To qualify for this list is simple. You need to have made a move that is so stupid, people still talk about how dumb it is today. No. 1 is Jordan Parhar volunteering to be nominating, resulting in his eviction.

No. 1: Jordan volunteers to be nominated, resulting in his eviction

In week 5 of Big Brother Canada 3, Jordan had been working closely with Zach Oleynik since the start of the game. The two had been playing both sides while letting the two big alliances go at each other. After week 4’s live eviction, Sindy Nguyen returned to the game after winning a competition. She soon found herself in a showmance with Jordan (after Jordan warned Zach against showmances). However, despite the showmance, she was secretly plotting against Jordan and Zach.

Zach won HOH in week 5 and Jordan should’ve been safe. However, he volunteered to go on the block in order to try and hide their alliance. Zach took the opportunity to nominate Jordan alongside Godfrey Mangwiza. Jordan then proceeded to throw the POV competition in hopes that Zach would win. Zach did win the POV but refused to use it on Jordan as he feared it would give them away and instead kept nominations the same.

Knowing Jordan and Zach would never see it coming, Sindy began to rally the troops to blindside Jordan. Sindy was able to get Bobby Hlad, Bruno Ielo, Brittnee Blair, and Sarah Hanlon on board with the plan. At the live eviction, Jordan was blindsided in a 5-4 vote. This made him the first member of the Big Brother Canada 3 jury. To add insult to injury, he would be later banned from voting for the winner by the final 3. Before his vote was nullified, he had voted for Sarah to win Big Brother Canada 3.

Where do I even begin with this one? First of all, NEVER volunteer to go on the block because so many things can go wrong. Anything that could go wrong for Jordan this week, did go wrong. Second of all, when you are on the block, you should never throw the POV because that is your safety net right there. Nobody will fault you for winning the POV if you are on the chopping block.
