With Big Brother Canada 8 on the horizon, we decided to look back at previous seasons. One of the first things typically on the forefront of fans’ minds is returning players. So, we decided to make a list of players we would like to see return for a future season of Big Brother Canada.

The criteria are simple: you can only have played once and not won the show. It could also just be someone the author liked, thought was a good player, could’ve gone down as a legend if not for a twist, or someone who simply needs a shot at redemption. This entry looks at why Ramsey Aburaneh from Big Brother Canada 4 should return.

Why Ramsey Aburaneh should return to Big Brother Canada

The social game was Ramsey’s biggest strength in the house. There wasn’t a person in the house who had a bad thing to say about Ramsey.

After a quiet first couple of weeks in the game, Ramsey sided with Dallas Cormier and Maddy Pavle. After he sided with them, he was nominated for eviction on 2 occasions. The first was in week 5 against Dallas. The second, was in week 8 against Maddy. Both times, he won the POV to save himself.

Unfortunately, Ramsey’s game came to an unexpected halt when he received devastating news from home. Ramsey’s father had suffered a heart attack and was headed for emergency surgery. As a result, Ramsey chose to leave the game and be with his family. Since Ramsey quit the game, Canada got to cast a jury vote in his stead. On finale night, Ramsey returned and placed Canada’s key in the wheel and it was revealed that Canada had voted for Nick & Phil Paquette to win.

Ramsey deserves a chance to return based on the unfortunate set of circumstances surrounding his departure. It would’ve been interesting to see the rest of Ramsey’s game unfold because even though he was in the minority, people liked him enough that lines could’ve easily shifted to keep him in the game. Even if that didn’t happen, he certainly had the physical tools to win comps that would keep him alive in the game.
