With Big Brother Canada 8 on the horizon, we decided to look back at our most recent season. We will be going down the list of every Big Brother Canada 7 and detailing their worst moves. Here are Dane Rupert’s worst moves.

On Day 1 during a conversation with Adam, Dane helped found the Pretty Boys alliance. This alliance would go on to dominate Big Brother Canada 7 as all 4 of its members made it to the final 5. He also made key relationships with Estefania Hoyos and Damien Ketlo.

Later, Adam won the first HOH and Dane was able to stay out of the spotlight that week. He helped the Pretty Boys make Laura Roberts the first person evicted from the Big Brother Canada 7 house in an 11-0 vote.

In week 2, Dane won HOH and nominated Maki Moto alongside Kyra Shenker for eviction. Dane’s target was Kyra until Maki told him that he would be nominated if Maki won HOH. Adam won the POV that week and chose not to use it. Knowing Dane had made an earlier promise to keep Maki safe that week, Kailyn Archer tried to rally votes to force a tie and force Dane’s hand. The vote came back 5-5 and Dane broke the tie by evicting Maki. Maki put a plague on the house as he exited.

In week 3, Dane was again out of the spotlight for the most part. Late in the week, Samantha Picco overheard a conversation between Dane and Adam about the Pretty Boys alliance and relayed the information to Chelsea. At the eviction, he helped the house take out Kailyn in a 10-0 vote.

After the live eviction, Chelsea tried to put together an all-girls alliance to combat the boys. However, Kiera Wallace didn’t trust Chelsea and ran the information to Dane.

Week 4 brought the 1st double eviction of the season. On the front end, Dane won his 2nd HOH of the season, outlasting Samantha. He nominated Chelsea and Kyra for eviction. Cory Kennedy won the POV that week and chose not to use it. However, during the POV ceremony, Chelsea used her POV speech to attack Dane. At the live eviction, Chelsea was evicted in a 9-0 vote.

On the back end of the double, Dane was able to stay out of the spotlight. Here, he helped the house evict Eddie Lin in an 8-0 vote.

In week 5, a new twist was unleashed on the house called the Blood Veto. The house voted unanimously to give the Blood Veto to Kyra on a promise that Kyra wouldn’t use it. The Blood Veto gave Kyra safety for the week and the ability to overturn the eviction results if they didn’t like it.

Samantha won HOH that week and Dane was able to remain out of the spotlight. However, his ally Mark Drellich was nominated for eviction against Kiera. After Adam won the POV that week, Dane hatched a plan to backdoor Cory, which ultimately backfired. Word got to Cory about the plan but she didn’t know who came up with it. Adam chose not to use the POV that week.

At the live eviction, Kiera was voted out 5-1. However, Kyra had the chance to overturn the results with the Blood Veto. They chose to keep their earlier promise not to do so and Kiera became the 6th person evicted from the Big Brother Canada 7 house.

In week 6, Cory won HOH and was out to evict whoever came up with the plan to backdoor her the previous week. She nominated Dane alongside his showmance Estefania Hoyos thinking it might’ve been him or Samantha. Dane won the POV that week and used it to save himself. Anthony Douglas convinced Cory that the backdoor plan came from Samantha and she was named the replacement nominee. Samantha was evicted 5-1. This made Samantha the first member of the Big Brother Canada 7.

In week 7, Dane was able to stay out of the spotlight that week. Here, he helped the Pretty Boys evict Cory in a 3-1 vote.

Week 8 brought a double eviction. On the front end of the double, Dane was able to remain out of the spotlight. However, his showmance Estefania became the target after Damien won the POV to save himself. Estefania was evicted 3-1. The lone vote to keep her came from Dane.

On the back end, Dane won his 3rd HOH of the season and nominated Damien alongside Kyra for eviction. Anthony won the POV that week and chose not to use it. Damien was evicted in a 3-0 vote.

In week 9, Kyra won HOH and nominated Dane and Adam, with the intention of taking out one of the two biggest threats. Adam won the POV that week to save himself and Mark was named the replacement nominee. It looked like Dane was done, but Dane had other ideas.

Through crocodile tears and a pitch that they needed him to take out Adam at the final 4, Dane was able to convince Anthony and Kyra that he should stay that week. Anthony got Adam on board to keep Dane. At the live eviction, Mark was evicted 2-0.

At the final 4, Dane won his 4th HOH of the season and nominated Adam alongside Kyra for eviction. Dane also won the POV that week and chose not to use it. Before the live POV/eviction ceremony, Adam was informed that he would be the next person evicted in a heart-wrenching moment. At the eviction, Anthony chose to evict Adam.

At the final 3, Dane won part 1 of the 3-part final HOH and Kyra won the 2nd part. This set up a showdown in the 3rd part between Dane and Kyra. Dane won part 3 and chose to evict Kyra and take Anthony to the final 2 with him. At the final vote, Dane was crowned the winner of Big Brother Canada 7 in a 7-0 vote. To date, this is the 2nd perfect game in Big Brother Canada history behind Kevin Martin in Big Brother Canada 5.

Dane Rupert’s Worst Moves of Big Brother Canada 7

Yes, even Dane had a bad move during his time on Big Brother Canada 7 (despite playing a so-called Perfect Game). His worst move was the failed backdoor plot against Cory in week 5. It cost him a nomination the following week and possibly (yet not likely) could’ve cost him his game had he not won the POV.
