With Big Brother Canada 8 on the horizon, we decided to look back at our most recent season. We will be going down the list of every Big Brother Canada 7 and detailing their best moves. Here are Mark Drellich’s worst moves.

On Day 1 of Big Brother Canada 7, Mark aligned himself with Dane Rupert, Anthony Douglas, and Adam Pike in the Pretty Boys alliance. The alliance would go on to dominate the season.

Thanks to his Pretty Boys alliance, Mark was under the radar for the first 4 weeks of Big Brother Canada 7. During that time, he helped the Pretty Boys take out Laura Roberts, Maki Moto, Kailyn Archer, Chelsea Bird, and Eddie Lin.

In week 5, Samantha Picco won HOH. That week, the Blood Veto was introduced. The house would vote unanimously to give one person this power. The Blood Veto allowed its holder to remain safe from eviction this week and overturn the eviction results if they didn’t like it. The house voted to give Kyra Shenker the Blood Veto.

Later, Samantha nominated Mark alongside Kiera Wallace. Mark’s ally Adam won the POV that week and chose not to use it per his showmance, Samantha’s wishes. At the live eviction, Kiera was voted out a 5-1 vote. The lone vote to evict Mark came from Estefania Hoyos. However, Mark’s game still hung in the balance but Kyra kept their promise not to use the Blood Veto, making Kiera the 6th person evicted.

Mark was able to lay low again in week 6. Here, he helped the Pretty Boys take out their biggest rival, Samantha.

In week 7, Mark won HOH and was ready to emerge from the shadows of his Pretty Boys alliance. He concocted a complex plot where he would nominate one of the Pretty Boys and fake a fight with them to make the house think there was no boys’ alliance. However, he was secretly plotting to destroy the Pretty Boys alliance. When Dane volunteered to be the pawn in Mark’s plan, Mark was touched by Dane’s show of loyalty and backed off the part of the plan where he would get the pawn evicted.

Mark nominated Adam alongside Damien Ketlo for eviction, with Damien as the target. Adam won the POV that week and used it to save himself. Needing a replacement nominee, Mark chose to nominate Estefania for eviction. Later in the week, Adam found a secret assassin power that allowed him to name a 3rd nominee. Adam chose to name Cory the replacement nominee and Cory was evicted 3-1. Adam’s move essentially stole the spotlight from Mark’s HOH reign.

Week 8 brought a double eviction. Adam won HOH on the front end of the double eviction. He chose to nominate Damien and Estefania for eviction, wanting to target Damien. However, Damien won the POV to save himself that week. To keep up the impression they didn’t like each other, Adam named Mark the replacement nominee. Estefania was evicted in a 3-1 vote. The lone vote to evict Mark came from Dane.

On the back end of the double eviction, Mark was able to remain safe despite not winning HOH. Here, he helped the Pretty Boys take out Damien in a 3-0 vote.

The Pretty Boys run came to an end at the final 5 when Kyra, the lone outsider remaining won HOH. She nominated Adam and Dane for eviction with the intention of evicting either one of them since they were the two biggest threats left. However, Adam won the POV to save himself and it looked like Dane was done.

Kyra named Mark the replacement nominee and was gunning for Dane. However, Kyra’s plan soon began to unravel. Through crocodile tears and reasoning they needed him to evict Adam at the final 4, Dane was able to convince Anthony and Kyra that he should live to see another day. Anthony was also able to get Adam on board to keep Dane and Mark was the 11th person evicted from the Big Brother Canada 7 house 2-0, making him the 5th member of the jury. On finale night, Mark cast his vote for Dane to win Big Brother Canada 7.

Mark Drellich’s Best Moves of Big Brother Canada 7

Mark had two bad moves during his time on Big Brother Canada 7. The first was not focusing more on his social game. It seemed like from exit interviews and confessionals that Mark really didn’t have the greatest social game going. The social game is the most important key to winning Big Brother Canada so he should’ve put more emphasis on it.

His other bad move was falling asleep at the wheel to ensure that Dane was evicted at the final 5. After the POV ceremony, I feel like I didn’t see Mark doing much scrambling. He should’ve been driving home the point that Dane was a huge threat and it wasn’t necessary to keep him in order to go after Adam. He didn’t do either of those that.
