With Big Brother Canada 8 on the horizon, we decided to look back at our most recent season. We will be going down the list of every Big Brother Canada 7 and detailing their best moves. Here are Adam Pike’s best moves.
On Day 1, Adam founded the Pretty Boys alliance during a conversation with Dane Rupert. They added Mark Drellich and Anthony Douglas to the alliance. This alliance proved to be the most successful alliance in the history of Big Brother Canada. All 4 members of the alliance made it to at least the final 5.
Week 1 was a big week for Adam in the game. He became the first HOH of Big Brother Canada 7. Soon after found himself in a showmance with Samantha Picco. He also developed key friendships with Chelsea Bird and Kyra Shenker.
Adam nominated Laura Roberts and Damien Ketlo for eviction that week. It turned out week 1 was also an instant eviction. Laura became the first person evicted from the Big Brother Canada 7 house in an 11-0 vote.
In week 2, Dane won HOH and nominated Kyra and Maki Moto for eviction. Adam the POV that week and chose not to use it. Maki became a target after he told Dane that he would nominate Dane for eviction if he won HOH. Knowing Dane had made an earlier promise to keep Maki safe, Kailyn Archer rallied votes to force a tie and force Dane’s hand. Adam voted with the Pretty Boys to evict Maki and there was a 5-5 tie at the live eviction. Dane broke the tie by evicting Maki.
In week 3, Adam’s ally Chelsea won HOH. At the eviction that week, Kailyn called out Adam and Samantha in a fiery speech. However, Adam got the last laugh as Kailyn was evicted from the Big Brother Canada house in a 10-0 vote.
Towards the end of week 3, Samantha overheard a conversation between Adam and Dane about the boys’ alliance that caused her to question her showmance’s loyalties (for a brief period). Samantha relayed this information to Chelsea. After the eviction, Chelsea tried to form an all-women’s alliance. This backfired in her face when Kiera Wallace informed Dane of Chelsea’s plans.
Week 4 brought the first double eviction of the season. On the front end of the eviction, Adam was able to stay safe despite not winning HOH. Here, he helped the Pretty Boys evict his former ally Chelsea.
On the back end of the double eviction, Adam won his 2nd HOH of Big Brother Canada 7. Adam nominated Kiera alongside Eddie Lin for eviction, with the intention of evicting Kiera. However, Kiera won the POV to save herself that week. Adam named Kyra the replacement nominee and Eddie was evicted 8-0.
In week 5, Samantha won HOH that week, meaning the showmance was in power. A new twist was unleashed on the Big Brother Canada house called the Blood Veto. The house voted to award the Blood Veto to Kyra after they made a promise not to use it. The Blood Veto granted Kyra safety for the week and the ability to overturn the eviction results if they didn’t like it.
Samantha nominated Kiera alongside Mark for eviction. Adam won the POV and despite his Pretty Boys alliance mate being on the block, he chose not to use it per Samantha’s wishes. At the live eviction, Kiera was voted out in a 5-1 vote. Kyra kept their promise not to use the Blood Veto and Kiera became the 6th person evicted from Big Brother Canada 7.
Towards the end of the week, an important event took place that helped shape week 6. After Adam’s POV win, Dane came up with a plan to get Samantha to backdoor Cory Kennedy. However, this plan backfired when Adam didn’t use the Veto.
In week 6, Cory won HOH and wanted to evict whoever had come up with the backdoor plan against her the previous week. She nominated Dane alongside Estefania, suspecting it might’ve been either Dane or Samantha. Dane won the POV and used it to save himself that week.
Anthony was able to convince Cory that Samantha was the one who had come up with the plan. Samantha was named the replacement nominee and evicted in a 5-1 vote, much to Adam’s chagrin. This made Samantha the 1st member of the Big Brother Canada 7 jury. Adam was the only one who voted to keep Samantha.
In week 7, Mark won HOH and had a convoluted scheme to destroy the Pretty Boys alliance. His plan was to nominate one member of the Pretty Boys against a supposed pawn. He claimed to members of the Pretty Boys he wanted to start a fight with whoever went on the block from their alliance to throw people off the scent of the Pretty Boys Instead, he would secretly be working to evict the member of the Pretty Boys that went on the block.
However, after Dane volunteered so quickly to be the pawn in Mark’s plan, Mark was touched by Dane’s show of loyalty and called off his plan to evict the member of the Pretty Boys that went on the block.
So, Mark nominated Adam and Damien for eviction. Adam and Mark faked a fight to throw people off the scent. Adam won the POV that week and Mark named Estefania Hoyos the replacement nominee.
By the end of the week, Adam managed to steal the spotlight from Mark’s HOH reign. Adam found a secret assassin power, which allowed him to name a secret 3rd nominee that week. Adam chose to name Cory the replacement nominee and she was evicted 3-1.
Week 8 brought a second double eviction. Adam won HOH on the front end and nominated Damien and Estefania for eviction, with the intention of targeting Damien. However, Damien won the POV to save himself that week. Needing a replacement nominee, Adam and Mark continued their fake fight as Adam named Mark the replacement nominee. At the live eviction, Estefania was evicted 3-1.
On the back end of the double eviction, Adam was able to remain out of the spotlight. Here, he helped the Pretty Boys evict Damien in a 3-0 vote.
In week 9, the lone outsider left, Kyra won HOH. She nominated Adam alongside Dane for eviction, hoping to get 1 of the 2 strongest guys left evicted. Adam won the POV to save himself and Mark was named the replacement nominee. It looked like Dane’s game was over, but instead, it was Adam’s game beginning to unravel.
Through crocodile tears and reasoning that they needed him to evict Adam at the final 4, Dane was able to convince Anthony and Kyra to keep him. From there, Anthony was able to get Adam on board to keep Dane and Mark was evicted 2-0.
On Day 63, Dane won HOH and followed through on his plan. He nominated Adam alongside Kyra for eviction. Dane also won the POV that week and chose not to use it. Before the eviction ceremony, Dane informed Adam he was going to be evicted that week in a heart-wrenching moment. At the eviction, Anthony voted to evict Adam, making him the 6th member of the jury. On finale night, Adam voted for Dane to win Big Brother Canada 7.
Adam Pike’s Best Moves of Big Brother Canada 7
Adam had two great moves during his time on Big Brother Canada 7. The first was founding the Pretty Boys alliance. While I feel he could’ve lasted awhile on his own with the relationships he made, he might not have gotten as far as he did without this alliance.
His other great move was using his secret assassin power to evict Cory. Cory could’ve been a real problem for the Pretty Boys if she had lasted much longer because Anthony just didn’t want to get rid of Cory at all.
What were Adam’s best moves of Big Brother Canada 7, if he had any? Feel free to let us know in the comments!
