With Celebrity Big Brother possibly being cancelled and rumors of a potential All-Stars swirling, we decided to take a look back on Celebrity Big Brother. We have figured out 5 former celebrity houseguests we would want to see participate in a potential All-Stars season.

When CBS released their midseason schedule, there was a notable absence from it: Celebrity Big Brother. This has led to speculation that the series has been cancelled. It really is a shame because it provided fans some entertainment in the black hole known as the Big Brother offseason.

Rumors have also been swirling around a potential All-Stars season. Fans have been clamoring for a new All-Stars for years. Speculation was only fueled when host Julie Chen-Moonves posted pictures of herself dressed as former houseguests and posted GIFs of others.

With this in mind, we have figured out 5 former celebrity houseguests we would want to see participate in a potential All-Stars season. Our decisions were based primarily on strength of the player’s game, entertainment value, and how far they made it in the game. Since there were some good players that didn’t quite make the cut, we also decided to include some honorable mentions. Without further ado, here are the Celebrity Big Brother players we’d like to see return on a potential All-Stars season.

Honorable mention: Ariadna Gutierrez, Ricky Williams

No. 5: Mark McGrath

During his time on Celebrity Big Brother 1, Mark McGrath was only ever nominated for eviction once. That came in cycle 3 after James Maslow had won the POV. Everyone knew Mark wouldn’t go anywhere if he was nominated, so he became the pawn to help get Shannon Elizabeth evicted. While Mark did suffer one vote against him, he stayed in the game. After that, he never touched the block again until the final 4. Even then, he only touched the block by default because he lost the HOH Competition.

In the 5th cycle, Mark won HOH. This would prove to be his lone competition win of the season. However, he made good use of it. Mark wanted to evict Brandi Glanville to help his ally James and take out a big target. Brandi was evicted that cycle in a 3-1 vote.

Mark played a very strong under-the-radar game. Nobody had a bad thing to say about him, so it isn’t hard to see him having an easy time winning if he had made the finals. For his strong game, he makes our list of Celebrity Big Brother players we’d like to see return.

No. 4: James Maslow

James Maslow was a target from Day 1, but when you look at it, he actually played a very strong game. James knew he was a target because of his physical strength, so he threw competitions unless he absolutely needed to win it. In fact, the only time he did win was the third cycle’s POV. At that point, he was going to be evicted if he didn’t win. He had been nominated alongside Shannon Elizabeth for eviction and the house wanted one of the two strongest players out.

Despite the huge target on his back, he was able to make it to 6th place and even outlasted his rival, Brandi. He also one of the three finalists for America’s Favorite Player, losing to Ross Mathews.

No. 3: Omarosa

Omarosa was the Yin to Ross’ Yang, the Pepsi to his Coke so to speak. Omarosa is one of the most famous reality tv villains of all time, so it just wouldn’t be appropriate to exclude Omarosa from this list. It actually isn’t hard to see Omarosa winning Celebrity Big Brother 1. Her mistake was evicting James. Once James left, she was left exposed as the next biggest target.

Regardless of your opinion of her, a good season needs heroes and villains. Omarosa definitely fits in the villains category. On top of it, she actually wasn’t a bad player either. She had a good strategic sense and was able to win competitions on top of that. For this, she deserves another shot.

No. 2: Tom Green

It is hard not to like Tom Green. He was a hard-core game player who just got a raw deal. It also helps that he was hilarious. Tom’s game fell apart when he tried to backdoor Ricky Williams in the third cycle. Lolo Jones and Natalie Eva Marie wanted no part of this. A huge fight ensued, ending that alliance and a huge target was on Tom and Kato Kaelin’s backs.

Kato was evicted the following cycle, leaving Tom all alone. He then won a clutch HOH to keep himself in the game. He tried to evict Ricky a second time but again nobody wanted to do it. Instead, he settled for evicting Natalie Eva Marie. Tom was evicted the following cycle and named America’s Favorite Player at the finale.

Between his gameplay and getting a raw deal, he deserves another chance on that alone. However, his wit and sense of humor puts him No. 2 on our list of celebrities we’d like to see return.

No. 1: Ross Mathews

Ross Mathews is one of the best players to never win Big Brother between all the different formats we’ve seen in the US. He controlled the game almost from the beginning. He won a number of competitions, and played a very aggressive game that led him all the way to the final 2. However, what cost him in the end was the inability to own up to his game. Ross was also very entertaining in the diary room. Between his game play and diary rooms, he tops the list of celebrities we’d like to see return for a second shot.
