Ranking the Celebrity Big Brother houseguests: No. 12

In light of Celebrity Big Brother being left off CBS’ schedule, we thought we would take a trip down memory lane. We are going to be ranking all Celebrity Big Brother houseguests from 23 to 1. Today we will take a look at No. 12: Omarosa Manigault.

When CBS released their midseason schedule, there was a notable absence from it: Celebrity Big Brother. This has led to speculation that the series has been cancelled. It really is a shame because it provided fans some entertainment in the black hole known as the Big Brother offseason. With this in mind, we decided to rank the houseguests from 23 to 1. Checking in at No. 12 on our list is Omarosa Manigault from Season 1.

No. 12: Omarosa

As one would expect her to be, Omarosa was a strong player on Celebrity Big Brother 1. Prior to the season, Omarosa was known as one of the biggest reality tv villains. She later worked for President Donald Trump at the White House, which she talked about frequently on the show.

In the first cycle, Omarosa was immune after a twist in the HOH Competition. Shannon Elizabeth won the first HOH Competition but was dethroned after Keshia Knight Pulliam’s giftbag allowed her to take the HOH herself. Keshia nominated Chuck Liddell and James Maslow were nominated for eviction, with James being the target.

However, Shannon flipped the house to save James. Chuck was evicted 7-1, leaving Keshia and Omarosa blindsided.

The following cycle, Ross Matthews won HOH and nominated Keshia and Omarosa for eviction, with the intention of targeting Omarosa. Marissa Jaret Winokur won the POV and chose not to use it. Luckily for Omarosa, Keshia wanted to be evicted for personal reasons. Keshia was then evicted 7-0.

Omarosa was able to stay safe for the 3rd cycle and helped take out Shannon in the process. Shannon was evicted in a 7-1 vote.

In the fourth cycle, Omarosa won her first HOH Competition of the season. She nominated Brandi Glanville and Ross Matthews for eviction, with the intention of targeting Ross. However, Ross won the VIP Veto to save himself. The VIP Veto allowed Ross to use it twice if he wished.

Ultimately, there was no need for Ross to use it twice as Metta World Peace wanted to be evicted. Ross used the POV on himself and Omarosa honored Metta’s wishes, nominating him for eviction. Metta was then evicted 5-0.

Omarosa was able to remain safe for the fifth cycle. During the fifth cycle, she voted with the majority in evicting Brandi.

In the sixth cycle, Omarosa won her 2nd consecutive HOH Competition. She nominated Marissa and Ross for eviction. However, Ross won the POV to save himself. Wanting to take out a big target, Omarosa named James the replacement nominee. James was evicted in a 2-1 vote.

With James no longer in the house, Omarosa stood out as the biggest target. Ross won HOH in the seventh cycle and nominated Omarosa alongside Ariadna Gutierrez for eviction. Ross then won POV and kept his nominations the same. At the live eviction, Omarosa was evicted 2-0. She returned on finale night and cast her vote for Marissa to win Celebrity Big Brother 1.
