Ranking the Celebrity Big Brother houseguests: No. 14

In light of Celebrity Big Brother being left off CBS’ schedule, we thought we would take a trip down memory lane. We are going to be ranking all Celebrity Big Brother houseguests from 23 to 1. Today we will take a look at #14: Brandi Glanville.

When CBS released their midseason schedule, there was a notable absence from it: Celebrity Big Brother. This has led to speculation that the series has been cancelled. It really is a shame because it provided fans some entertainment in the black hole known as the Big Brother offseason. So with this in mind, we decided to rank the houseguests from 23 to 1. Checking in at No. 14 on our list is Brandi Glanville from Season 1.

No. 14: Brandi Glanville

Brandi’s time on Celebrity Big Brother 1 was defined by her rivalry with James Maslow and her mouth. She also played the game hard and was willing to take out big threats.

Brandi was able to stay safe through the first 3 evictions of the game. After week 1, she suggest backdooring her ally Shannon Elizabeth, who was seen as a major threat. In week 3, Shannon was nominated against Brandi’s rival James. When James won the POV to save himself, it sealed Shannon’s fate. Mark McGrath was named the replacement nominee but Shannon was evicted 5-1. The only one who voted to keep Shannon was Brandi.

On Day 18, Omarosa Manigault won HOH. She nominated Brandi and Ross Matthews for eviction with the intention of evicting Ross. However, Ross won the VIP Veto to save himself. The VIP Veto was a twist in the game that allowed its holder to remove both nominees if they chose. Since Metta World Peace wanted to be evicted, Ross used the POV on himself and Metta was named the replacement nominee. Metta was then evicted 5-0.

On Day 21, Mark McGrath won HOH and nominated Brandi alongside Ariadna. Mark targeted Brandi to help his ally James. When Ariadna won POV, Brandi’s fate was sealed. Marissa Jaret Winokur was named the replacement nominee and Brandi was evicted 3-1. The only vote to save Brandi came from Ariadna. On finale night, Brandi voted for Ross to win Celebrity Big Brother 1.
