In light of Celebrity Big Brother being left off CBS’ schedule, we thought we would take a trip down memory lane. We are going to be ranking all Celebrity Big Brother houseguests from 23 to 1. Today we will take a look at #18: Ryan Lochte.

When CBS released their midseason schedule, there was a notable absence from it: Celebrity Big Brother. This has led to speculation that the series has been cancelled. It really is a shame because it provided fans some entertainment in the black hole known as the Big Brother offseason. So with this in mind, we decided to rank the houseguests from 23 to 1. Checking in at No. 18 on our list is Ryan Lochte from Season 2.

No. 18: Ryan Lochte

Ryan’s time on Celebrity Big Brother 2 was short lived. His eviction was a classic case of guilt by association. Once Jonathan Bennett was evicted, he was sure to follow unless he won the POV.

For the 1st HOH Competition, players were split up into pairs. The winning pair would then face off in a 2nd part of the HOH Competition where the winner would be named HOH and the loser would be a special 3rd nominee.  Jonathan got paired up with Ryan Lochte and the duo won the challenge.

In the 2nd part of the HOH Competition, Ryan won making him the new HOH and leaving Jonathan as the 3rd nominee.

Jonathan soon formed an alliance with Ryan, Lolo Jones, and Natalie Eva Marie. The girls in his alliance wanted Dina Lohan to be nominated as a pawn. However, Jonathan knew Dina and her daughter Lindsay from outside the house and had a good relationship with Dina. So, Jonathan went against the alliance’s plan and influenced Ryan to nominate Tom Green instead.

At the nomination ceremony, Ryan nominated Anthony Scaramucci and Tom for eviction. This broke the alliance and put a huge target on Jonathan and Ryan’s backs. When Ricky Williams won the POV, he chose not to use it, leaving nominations in place.

An unexpected twist occurred on Day 6 when Anthony was revealed to be a fake houseguest and he left the game. As a result, a new nominee was needed and a new POV was up for grabs.

Kandi Burruss was named the new nominee. Kato Kaelin won the new POV and chose to use it on Tom. This left Ryan needing yet another nominee. He chose to nominate Joey Lawrence in Tom’s place. At the live eviction ceremony, Jonathan was evicted in a 6-1 vote. The only vote to keep Jonathan was from Dina.

Kato won HOH in week 2 and nominated Dina and Tamar Braxton for eviction. However, his real target was Ryan. Ryan was not selected to play in the POV and had no control over his fate. When Tom won the POV, he used it to save Dina. Kato nominated Ryan in Dina’s place. Ryan was then evicted in a 6-1 vote. The only vote to keep Ryan came from Joey Lawrence.
