As Big Brother 21 comes to a close, we take a look at how each member of the final 3 got to where they are. Next up is Holly Allen.

Out of the final 3 houseguests on Big Brother 21, Holly Allen has arguably had the best social game out of anyone. She was not nominated for eviction until Day 83. Even then, she was only nominated because there was no other option left. However, her attachment to Jackson Michie may lead to her downfall with the jury as they might see the moves she made as Michie’s. Can Holly use the relationships she made on Big Brother 21 to her advantage?

Holly’s Big Brother game

Like Michie, Holly started off the game strong being part of the Gr8ful alliance. With bigger targets like Michie and Jack Matthews around, nobody looked at her as a threat. Coming into the game, she knew Kathryn “Kat” Dunn which helped her stay safe with the other side of the house and gain information. Even though Kat and Holly formed a final 2, she fell in love with Michie early in the season and the two have been in a showmance ever since.

In week 3, Gr8ful broke up and Holly helped form the Six Shooters alliance. The Six Shooters targeted their former allies Nick Maccarone and Isabella “Bella” Wang. Their first victim was Cliff Hogg III whom they blindsided to send a message to Bella and Nick. However, shortly after his eviction, Cliff re-entered the game as part of the Camp Comeback twist.

Holly won her first Head of Household Competition of Big Brother 21 in week 5. She chose to nominate Sam Smith and Nick for eviction with the intention of targeting Nick. However, Nick won the Power of Veto and saved himself. Holly named Kat as the replacement nominee. Kat had volunteered to go on the block to hide her relationship with Holly.

However, this move nearly backfired as Kat was nearly evicted. Jack Matthews turned on Michie and Holly after suspecting Holly and Kat knew each other from a conversation he had with Michie. However, a last-minute plea by Kat saved her and Sam was unanimously evicted. After all the chaos, Michie’s game was in shambles and by association, Holly became a target as well.

Holly caught a break when Tommy Bracco won Head of Household in week 7 and tried to get the remainder of the Six Shooters together. This allowed her and Michie to remain safe even though they wanted no part of a Six Shooters resurgence.

Soon, Holly and Michie made a final four deal with Nicole Anthony and Cliff after Michie won HOH. Michie’s HOH reigns allowed them to take out their former allies Analyse Talavera, Jessica Milagros, and Tommy.

In week 9, Holly won her 2nd HOH of Big Brother 21, becoming the first person to be HOH multiple times. However, the America’s Prankster twist meant she would only nominate one houseguest instead of two. Holly nominated Nick Maccarone for eviction with the intention of evicting him. As America’s Prankster, Nick had the chance to nominate Holly’s showmance Michie. However, he instead chose to nominate Christie Murphy. This time, Holly didn’t miss her shot at Nick and he was evicted 5-0.

After a big fight between Michie and Holly, Holly largely faded into the background strategically. She came back to relevance again at the final 5. At the final 5, her showmance Michie won HOH for the 3rd consecutive week. Michie nominated Cliff and Tommy for eviction. When Nicole won the Power of Veto, she used it to save Cliff. Holly was nominated for the first time all season when Michie was forced to nominate her on Day 83 (due to no other options being available).

Sensing a potential opportunity, Cliff and Nicole began turning on Holly. They made a deal in which Tommy would throw the HOH to them and help them target Michie at 4. Unbeknownst to the 3, Michie eavesdropped on their deal making and used his new information to try and turn Cliff and Nicole against Tommy. However, this lie didn’t work as Cliff and Nicole were still leaning towards getting rid of Holly.

Holly ultimately stayed after she cut a deal with Cliff and Nicole. Holly agreed to throw the HOH and POV Competitions at final 4 in order to stay. Tommy was evicted in a 2-0 vote.

At the final 4, Holly threw the competition as planned but instantly regretted doing so. Nicole won HOH and nominated Holly alongside Michie. Michie won the Power of Veto that week and took himself off the block, forcing Cliff to be nominated as the replacement. Michie chose to evict Cliff and keep his showmance safe.

On Sunday’s episode, Holly competed in part 1 of the final 3-part HOH Competition but finished in 2nd place to Michie. On Wednesday’s season finale, Holly will compete against Nicole in part 2 of the final 3-part HOH Competition. The winner will advance to round 3 where they will face off against Michie.
