Big Brother alum Winston Hines is joining the cast of the new CBS reality dating show Love Island. Hines competed on Big Brother 20 and was the third person evicted. Now he is headed to Fiji to try and find love.

Big Brother alum Winston Hines announced via his twitter account that he will be competing on the new CBS reality dating show Love Island. Winston comes to the villa hoping to find a dog mom.

Love Island is hosted by Arielle Vandenberg and follows a group of contests (known as Islanders). The show is set in a villa cut off from the outside world in Fiji. The Islanders are under video surveillance.

Islanders must be coupled up with one another or be eliminated (dumped). Islanders will be re-coupled over the duration of the show. The last couple standing will win $100,000.

Winston’s time on Big Brother 20

Winston time on Big Brother was short lived. He formed an alliance with Tyler Crispen, Rachel Swindler, Brett Robinson, Angela Rummans, and Kaycee Clark known as Level Six. Shortly after, Winston and Brett blossomed into a bromance.

Winston was safe in week 1 as Tyler won Head of Household. In a 7-6 vote, Winston helped Level 6 blindside Steve Arienta and Chris “Swaggy C” Williams’ alliance.

In week 2, Winston found himself nominated for eviction alongside Scottie Salton by Head of Household Kaitlyn Herman. He was a pawn in Tyler’s plan to convince Swaggy C he would be safe. Then, Tyler won the Power of Veto and chose to use it to save Scottie. Swaggy C was named the replacement nominee. Winston survived the vote as Swaggy C was evicted by a vote of 8-4.

In week 3, Scottie won Head of Household. He nominated Winston and Brett with the goal of getting one of the bros evicted. Scottie also won the Power of Veto that week. Brett and Winston tried to convince Scottie to use the Veto to save one of them, but he declined and chose not to use the Power of Veto. When Level Six found out that the remnants of Swaggy’s alliance were targeting Brett, Winston became Level Six’s target. Winston was evicted in a close 6-5 vote on eviction night.
