Julia Nolan of Big Brother 17 appears in Netflix’s Bash Brothers Experience

Julia Nolan from Big Brother makes an appearance in the new Netflix special called The Unauthorized Bash Brothers Experience.

Julia Nolan from Big Brother 17 just made a surprise appearance in a new Netflix special. The recently released comedy is called The Unauthorized Bash Brothers Experience. The short 30-minute film focuses on Jose Canseco and Mark McGwire during 1988. They were huge pop icons due to their long home runs for the Oakland Athletics and their recognizable nickname of The Bash Brothers.

A funny look at The Bash Brothers by The Lonely Island

The Lonely Island (featuring Andy Samberg) had a lot of recognizable people appear in what is a humorous look at the early fame of two baseball players who were long-rumored to be using steroids to help hit home runs. Julia Nolan joined people like Stephanie Beatriz, Sterling K. Brown, Maya Rudolph, Hannah Simone, and Jenny Slate.

Julia Nolan and her sister, Liz Nolan, were part of a big twist during Big Brother 17. The twins started out by taking turns in the game, with production hiding the fact that two people were playing as one. It was amusing and intriguing to see take place.

Eventually, both sisters were allowed to play the game at the same time, and they even came very close to winning the show. Liz made it all the way to the final two but ended up losing the final vote made by the BB17 jury.

As for Julia, she finished in sixth place during the season, getting voted out 3-0 when she wound up on the block. Since her time as part of the BB17 cast, Julia has appeared in several small acting roles and now she pops up as an extra in this mocumentary of The Bash Brothers. She first appears at roughly 13 minutes into it during a gym scene.

Andy Samberg, Netflix, and The Lonely Island really surprised a lot of people with this release to the platform. A fair warning to potential viewers, though, is that it is rated MA and there is a lot of language not suitable for younger viewers.

It was a big moment for the show that season, especially since some of the other cast members hadn’t figured out what was going on. It’s fun to look back on that cast as the BB21 season gets ready to be shown on CBS.
