Big Brother 21 theories: All newbies based on TV commercial

Big Brother 21 will take place during summer 2019. The BB21 cast should be revealed at some point during the month of June.

Big Brother 21 theories are starting up as the season gets closer. One theory about the BB21 cast is that it is going to be entirely comprised of new people to the game. That would mean no returning houseguests and a fresh set of characters for CBS fans to enjoy. It would be similar to the way that the BB20 cast was constructed for the summer 2018 season.

Where does Big Brother 21 theory come from?

A new commercial for the show was recently revealed. It served as a teaser for the upcoming season, without giving too much detail to viewers of the Survivor season finale. But there may have been an important detail that got overlooked by many viewers.

Within the commercial was the phrase “total strangers.” Now, this could just be a tagline to explain how the show works to new viewers, but it could also be a heavy hint about the BB21 cast. It could blatantly state that the new cast members don’t know each other.

A BB21 cast with no returners

At some point, producers and the network are going to do another All-Stars season. It hasn’t been done since Big Brother 7, possibly because the timing hasn’t been right. With the ratings success of Big Brother 20, there is also no reason to break the mold. Yet.

Having an entirely new cast helps to create new fan-favorites, new villains, and new long-term storylines for the reality competition show. It could also yield another winner that would be worth bringing back if Big Brother 22 ended up being another All-Stars installment.

As it stands, though, the commercial could be nothing more than a way to get people excited about the next season. It’s fun to hypothesize about what could come next, though.

Soon enough, CBS will reveal exact details about when the Big Brother 21 season premiere is going to take place. Then, it’s going to be a summer packed with excitement coming from inside the BB house.
