Big Brother houseguests return for April 24 episode of The Amazing Race

Six Big Brother houseguests are taking part in the 2019 season of The Amazing Race. All six survived Season 31, episode 1.

Former Big Brother houseguests have made it a trend of doing well during seasons of The Amazing Race. Last year, Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf, who had been on Big Brother 19, ended up winning The Amazing Race. Six former houseguests are trying to follow in those footsteps during Season 31. The first episode aired on April 17, with all six making it through the challenges. There are just 10 teams left competing for the $1 million cash prize.

Season 31, episode 2 on April 24

Victor Arroyo, Nicole Franzel, Janelle Pierzina, Britney Haynes, Rachel Reilly, and Elissa Slater comprise three of the 10 duos left on the show. During the first episode, Rachel and Elissa came in third place, Victor and Nicole were in sixth place, and Janelle and Britney came in eighth place. That’s how they will start episode 2 of the race.

The April 17 episode showed that each of the duos was capable of doing well on The Amazing Race. Rachel Reilly has a bit of an advantage within the group, as she competed on Season 20 and Season 24 with her husband, Brendon Villegas. That should help Rachel and Elissa to keep pace with some of the other teams, as some of them are returning contestants from past seasons of The Amazing Race.

Big Brother on The Amazing Race an exciting endeavor

So far, it has been fun to see the former houseguests competing in the race around the world. They all look capable of making it to the very end, with Victor Arroyo and Nicole Franzel having a bit of an edge when it comes to competitions. Will Rachel’s past experiences on the show help to propel her and Elissa all the way to the final mat? Fans will have to tune in to each episode to find out.

As shown in the images above, there is a twist coming to Season 31, episode 2. The previews make it look like there is also going to be a lot of drama coming with the cast. Will it involve one or more of the Big Brother duos? The second episode of The Amazing Race 31 begins on April 24 at 9/8c on CBS.
