Celebrity Big Brother cast: Ready to interrupt Super Bowl on live feeds?

The Celebrity Big Brother cast sure has caused a lot of commotion over the last few days. Not only has it made the live feeds exciting for subscribers, but it creates a funny scenario for Super Bowl Sunday.

To break it down, the Celebrity Big Brother cast has provided producers with a lot of footage for the Saturday night episode (February 2). A lot. The idea seems to have been to fill the episode time with the Power of Veto Competition, the Veto Meeting, and the latest Eviction Ceremony. Instead, those segments are going to feel rushed to make space for the drama.

What happened on the live feeds?

Tom Green and Kato Kaelin took over the power position within this cast and had been dominating the competitions. Unfortunately for them, problems with their social game and maybe even the age gap with some of the other cast members have placed them in a difficult position. That position? An island.

Tom, Kato, Natalie Eva Marie, and Lolo Jones had formed a tenuous alliance, but it lasted about as long as any other alliance the two ladies have been involved with this winter. It’s a good thing that Lolo and Natalie have each other, and that Tom and Kato also have one another. The foursome is dead. It got worse after the Veto Meeting.

Celebrity Big Brother spoilers and Super Bowl impact

Natalie Eva Marie won the Power of Veto and didn’t go with the agreement she made with Tom Green and Kato Kaelin. Instead, she decided to not use the Power of Veto, leading to an uneventful Veto Meeting. Then, the house exploded. Various loud and tense arguments took place between Lolo Jones and Kato, Tamar Braxton and everyone, and Kato with Ricky. That’s in addition to Kandi Burruss fighting with Lolo and Natalie earlier.

At one point, Lolo was screaming at Tom Green, while Ricky Williams stealthily threw gasoline on each moment of discord. There were so many fights going on that, at one point, the live feeds even turned off, suggesting producers may have had to step in. At the end of it all, Tom and Kato were getting discussed by the other seven houseguests, repeatedly.

So, what does any of this have to do with the Super Bowl? On Saturday night, there is an eviction episode, where either Joey Lawrence of Kandi Burruss will get sent home. Credit goes to fan site Hamsterwatch, which suggested a Twitter storm could erupt during the Super Bowl (Sunday, February 3), if the houseguests start going at it again. If both Celebrity Big Brother cast members feel they are safe, it’s going to cause a lot of drama when one gets evicted. Alternative programming for non-football fans? It might be on the horizon.
