Power of the Publicist voting still open for Celebrity Big Brother

The Celebrity Big Brother Power of the Publicist voting is open and fans of the show can now have an impact on the current season. It’s a new version of America’s Vote, allowing for an interactive facet of the winter 2019 season.
A Celebrity Big Brother twist, called the Power of the Publicist, was revealed at the end of the January 28 episode. Right after Ryan Lochte got evicted from the game, host Julie Chen Moonves explained how fans can give one of the celebrities a secret power. It has already contributed to some of the current CBB2 cast members trending on social media.
What is the Power of the Publicist?
CBS viewers can now vote for their favorite houseguest to receive this secret power. According to the show, the Power of the Publicist will allow the chosen houseguest to remove him or herself from being nominated at one of the next two Nomination Ceremonies or Veto Meetings. It’s a huge power, likely giving one of the cast members a lot of protection in the game.

How long is Power of the Publicist voting open?
The voting period is open and runs through 9 a.m. PT on January 29 (12 p.m. ET). That’s a lot of time left for viewers to show support for their favorite houseguest. Overnight, several cast members were seen as the top trending topics across the entire internet.
At the publishing of this article, three of the top five trending topics stemmed from the Celebrity Big Brother Power of the Publicist voting. Tamar Braxton was at the top of the list, followed by Tom Green, The Bachelor, Kingdom Hearts 3, and Joey Lawrence.
Creating trends like this worked well for the Big Brother 20 season, where rewards were given out to the top trending houseguests and punishments were dolled out to the least trending people. If the current trend continues, it appears that Tamar, Tom, or Joey are going to get this new power.
