The Celebrity Big Brother cast is finally going to see the light of day. While there have been a lot of social media posts about who might be inside the BB house this winter, CBS is getting closer to the official announcement.
Celebrity Big Brother cast rumors have really picked up recently. That includes some intriguing information posted online Thursday (January 10), which states that Joey Lawrence is on the CBB2 cast. There was also a WWE wrestler who was reportedly seen filming a segment at a local gym. But the big reveal is still coming and a Twitter post revealed when.
When is Celebrity Big Brother cast announced?
According to Twitter user REALvegas4sure, who has been providing a lot of information about the show over the past few years, hinted at when the Celebrity Big Brother cast will be announced. She states that it is scheduled for Sunday, January 13. This falls right in line with information previously posted by Inside the BB House.

Though fans would like to see full casts way in advance of the reality competition, it just isn’t a feasible way to do things. Producers don’t want contestants interacting with the public or each other too far in advance of the show, it’s expensive to sequester cast members for extended periods of time, and it would quell potential buzz. Waiting until seven to 10 days before the season premiere is actually a great method.
How will CBS announce 2019 Celebrity Big Brother cast?
This is where things get tricky. No information has been leaked about this yet. Last year, it was done during the Grammy Awards telecast. Maybe this year it will take place during the Sunday night primetime television shows. New episodes of God Friended Me, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Madam Secretary are on the schedule. Earlier in the day, the Los Angeles Chargers play the New England Patriots in the 2019 NFL Playoffs.

In addition to revealing the 2019 Celebrity Big Brother cast through television commercials, there will likely be a lot of online promotion as well. Fans should expect Twitter, Facebook, and even the CBS website to begin posting information about the CBB2 cast. That will give everyone a week to learn about the new celebrities and get ready for the 13-episode schedule this winter.
