Celebrity Big Brother 2019 cast has it easier than summer houseguests

Celebrity Big Brother 2019 cast announcements should be coming out soon from CBS. Then, it’s a race to the finish as each of the celebrities tries to win the $250,000.
Following up the successful season of Big Brother 20, new houseguests will be descending upon the reality competition show very soon. It’s going to be another addictive installment for the viewers, but the Celebrity Big Brother 2019 cast has it must easier than the regular summer houseguests. While the celebrities might disagree with that point, there are a number of reasons why it is much tougher to win the game when someone plays during the summer.
Why is it easier for celebrities than summer houseguests?
Big Brother 20 winner Kaycee Clark just finished spending nearly an entire summer inside the BB house. When Kaycee and Tyler Crispen stood up in front of the BB20 jury to ask for their votes, it was Day 99 of the summer 2018 season. That’s about three times the length of the upcoming winter season.

The Celebrity Big Brother 2019 schedule will take place over the course of roughly one month. It means that the celebrities only really need to last about 30 days in order to win the show. That’s far fewer days than the 99-day marathon that Kaycee, Tyler, and the BB20 jury just completed. A full month of playing the game might seem difficult, but not when compared to more than three months.
Celebrity Big Brother has fewer cast members, punishments
When Marissa Jaret Winokur won the last season of Celebrity Big Brother, she was part of an 11-person cast. That makes the odds of finishing in the money a bit more favorable for the celebrity houseguests. In comparison, there were 16 people in the BB20 house. When it comes to punishments, like becoming Have-Nots, the celebrities also have it easier. Last winter, nobody had to eat slop, take cold showers, or sleep in uncomfortable beds. Maybe that could change?

The season premiere is coming up quickly, with the first episode for the Celebrity Big Brother 2019 cast airing Monday, January 21 on CBS. The season will come to a close before the month of February does, but it will serve as a great interlude between Big Brother 20 and Big Brother 21 on the CBS reality competition schedule. It will also give Survivor and The Amazing Race fans something to watch during the offseason.
