On a list of television shows that received complaints during the past calendar year, it seems that the latest season of CBB UK is at the top. An on-set incident between houseguests Roxanne Pallett and Ryan Thomas led to a high number of those complaints.

How many people complained about Celebrity Big Brother UK?

It has been stated that the show received 27,602 official complaints from viewers. In comparison, the closest show, in terms of sheer numbers, was the 8,002 complaints that Loose Women received in the United Kingdom. Sky News (4,251) and Love Island (4,192) were the next two on the list.

Why did people complain about Celebrity Big Brother UK?

As noted, the drama between Roxanne Pallett and Ryan Thomas was the cause of a lot of complaints. Pallett claimed that Thomas had punched her repeatedly, while Thomas responded by stating that he was just playing around. Complaints urging for his removal from the show came in quite fervently from viewers, leading to several warnings from producers about how he spoke in the house. It even led to a statement released to the public about what had been taking place.

The bad news for die-hard fans of the show is that Celebrity Big Brother UK got canceled. There have been rumors and hints about the show possibly returning, but nothing concrete so far. As it stands, the show has reached its conclusion in the UK. As for the United States’ version of the show, CBS recently revealed the full schedule for its second season, set to air this winter.
