By Ryan Gamble
Kevin Schlehuber, who participated on Big Brother 19, posted some great news to Instagram this week. Schlehuber recently had to go through a prostate surgery.
It’s great news for Kevin Schlehuber of Big Brother 19. The former houseguest had cancer surgery at the end of November. On Friday (December 17), Kevin posted to his friends, family, and fans that he is now cancer free. The Instagram post (seen below) shared another message of thanks, taking the time to speak about how his recovery from surgery has been going. Maybe his sleepless nights can come to an end now with the news that he has beaten cancer.
Kevin Schlehuber confirms he is cancer free
"“Well I’ve been waiting for 12 days not knowing, if my Cancer spread or if it was successfully removed during Surgery! Well to quote the Dr. “This is the best news I’ve give all Week” My pathology report was negative “No MORE Cancer.[sic]”"

A lot of fans have expressed worry about concern in regard to Kevin. He was a popular member of the BB19 cast and seemed like a great guy on the show. He also lasted a lot longer than many fans predicted he would in that ultra-competitive house. Now, he has beaten back cancer, showing that his toughness was never just an act.
Kevin’s time on Big Brother 19
The BB19 cast was in the game during the summer 2017 season. Kevin had a lot of friends in the game from early in the season, but he just didn’t have that dedicated alliance that would help him get to the end of the show. He still made it all the way to the top four, but couldn’t overcome the trio alliance of Paul Abrahamian, Josh Martinez, and Christmas Abbott.
As a member of the BB19 jury, Kevin voted for Paul to become the winner of the show, but it was Josh who ended up winning the $500,000.
This is all great news from Kevin Schlehuber and even though the Big Brother 19 houseguest still has a lot of work in front of him to recover from the surgery, his prognosis has provided the best news possible.
