Big Brother 20 was a season of alliances, but one of them ended up running the game. The Level Six alliance may have been one of the strongest the game has ever seen, leading one of its members straight to a victory.

Almost as soon as the BB20 cast was in the house, two powerful alliances had already formed. One focused on friendship, while the other one focused on winning the game. The more successful of the two was the Level Six alliance, which survived until the very end. That primary alliance even helped Kaycee Clark to become the Big Brother 20 winner.

Level Six members

The members of the Level Six alliance were Kaycee Clark, Tyler Crispen, Angela Rummans, Brett Robinson, Rachel Swindler, and Winston Hines. The core four turned on Rachel and Winston when they needed to save themselves, but it was a smart move, in the end.

Winning competitions seemed easy for Tyler and Angela, early on. Then, Kaycee started winning them, including a Hacker Competition. Kaycee also seemed to control the Power of Veto for the final month of the season, winning win she and her alliance needed it the most.

When the dust had cleared, the final four houseguests were Angela, Tyler, JC Mounduix, and Kaycee. JC finally won his first competition of the season, ensuring he would make it to the final three. That was as far as he would get, though, as Kaycee won the final Head of Household and took Tyler to the end with her.

It is rare that a large alliance can work so well together for a full season, even while being forced to pick off some of its members along the way. The Level Six alliance certainly showed what it takes to dominate an entire season of the show, winning all the main prizes. Kaycee Clark won $500,000 as the Big Brother 20 winner, Tyler Crispen took home $50,000 for second place, and then Tyler won $25,000 more for being named America’s Favorite Houseguest.

Any alliances form during the Big Brother 21 season will have a lot to compete with if they want to be remembered among the best to play the game. The Level Six alliance did almost everything correctly and propelled two of its members straight to the final two houseguests. Some fans have argued that it made Big Brother 20 too predictable, but it sure was a lot of fun to watch.
