Celebrity Big Brother Season 2: Requests from fans
By Ryan Gamble
Celebrity Big Brother Season 2 will take place this winter. In fact, it has been rumored that casting is already underway. But there are a few things that fans have requested from the second installment in the United States.
A lot of CBS viewers turned in for the first season of the US version of Celebrity Big Brother. It was a good move by the network to put the show up against the Winter Olympics on NBC, but it didn’t go off without a hitch. In the end, Marissa Jaret Winokur became the CBB USA winner, a surprising result in a season that had been dominated by Ross Mathews.
One of the problems with Celebrity Big Brother USA
One of the biggest complaints from Season 1 leads to one of the biggest requests for Season 2. Viewers and fans want the Celebrity Big Brother Season 2 to want to be on the show. No quitters allowed. Quitting became a sub-story of the first installment, wrecking strategies and taking away some of the built-in excitement from the game.

It’s tough to be on the show. Being sequestered from all media sources, not being able to call home, and getting forced to live with a bunch of strangers is no easy task. But it is one that the Big Brother 20 cast just did with flying colors. The final three houseguests played the game for 99 days. That makes it seem like it shouldn’t be difficult for celebrities to last 30 days. Get people who are dedicated to staying and not threatening to quit every few hours.
Keep the fans involved during Celebrity Big Brother Season 2
One idea that worked really well during CBB USA Season 1, was when the viewers got to vote on the Veto Competition. The online vote led to America having the celebrities play for the VIP Veto. The houseguests were excited to hear the news during the episode. It gave the fans involvement and also peaked the interest of the people still in the house.
There is still a lot of time for the particulars about Celebrity Big Brother Season 2 to get worked out. That includes the producers working hard to put together a good cast of characters. Getting the right mix of houseguests is key to the season, but so are the two fan requests that keep getting made on social media. The other request is big name celebrities like Channing Tatum and Tom Hanks, but those aren’t the type of contestants who participate in reality competition shows.
