Celebrity Big Brother cast: Producers are hard at work

Celebrity Big Brother 2018 cast news drew a lot of interest when it first came out. Now, producers are hard at work trying to put together another interesting group of houseguests for this winter.
At the end of the Big Brother 20 finale, host Julie Chen Moonves dropped more hints about the upcoming Celebrity Big Brother 2019 season. It was just a hint, because CBS, the production team, and the casting director have been pretty quiet about who will be on the show. Those names aren’t likely to be revealed for a while, especially if they are looking at a February season premiere for the new cast.
Celebrity Big Brother 2018 cast
It’s important to make a distinction with the fact that the 2018 cast already played in the reality competition this past February. CBS put a group of 11 celebrities in the Big Brother house in order to provide alternative programming to the Winter Olympics on NBC. People like Brandi Glanville, Shannon Elizabeth, Omarosa, Ross Mathews, and Marissa Jaret Winokur took part.

The CBB USA winner for Season 1 was Marissa, who beat out Ross when the jury placed its votes. It was a surprising result to the season finale, especially since Ross had controlled the house for most of the winter. This has become a familiar theme with the reality competition show, as the person leading the way gains enemies in the jury and the person helping them ends up winning the show. Like Paul Abrahamian on Big Brother 19 and Kaycee Clark with Big Brother 20.
The Celebrity Big Brother 2019 cast
No names have been revealed for the new cast, but host Julie Chen Moonves and former celebrity contestant Mark McGrath did hint at some people they would like to see inside the Big Brother house. It’s hard not to wonder if those names will shift a bit as the casting decisions get closer to being made by the people in charge. Either way, it will give fans of the show something to watch on CBS during the long winter months.

A lot of fans are assuming that Celebrity Big Brother 2 will premiere sometime in January or February 2019. These are only assumptions, though, as the show has been kept under wraps for the most part. What is happening right now, is that potential cast members are getting discussed and it’s possible that some celebrities have already been contacted about appearing on the show. Once the excitement from the Big Brother 20 finale starts to die down, there will likely be more concrete news about the Celebrity Big Brother 2019 cast and season premiere.
