Big Brother: Over the Top, Tyler Crispen linked in live feeds reveal
By Ryan Gamble
Big Brother: Over the Top was an online version of the reality competition show. It took place during fall 2016, but now it turns out that Big Brother 20 cast member Tyler Crispen has a link to it.
An interesting piece of information came out on the CBS live feeds recently. This goes back to the time that Angela Rummans was still inside the BB20 house, but it has become a topic of discussion on social media for a while now. It turned out that Tyler Crispen has been trying to get on the show for a while and that it even included Tyler applying to be on Big Brother: Over the Top.
What is Big Brother: Over the Top?
Following the success of Big Brother 18 for CBS, the network and producers were quick to act on it, creating an online version of the show. As a way of really kicking off the CBS All Access application, a season of the reality competition show was done entirely through the live feeds. It was an intriguing way to do things, with Morgan Willett emerging as the Big Brother: Over the Top winner.

Tyler the Big Brother superfan
As shown in the video above, Tyler Crispen admitted to Angela Rummans that he has been a fan of the show for a while. This was contrary to the story he had been telling the Level Six alliance. It came as a shock to Angela, who had thought that Tyler was telling her the truth through the entire summer. That this conversation came shortly before she was evicted from the BB20 house is of particular note, because she has been stewing over that information in the jury house.
Now that Tyler is part of the final three this season, he has a shot to win the $500,000 prize. That could allow him to join the ranks of the best players to play the game. He has controlled most of the BB20 house this season, possibly through what he learned by watching every season of the show. As far as the viewers go, it is probably lucky that he didn’t succeed when he applied to be on Big Brother: Over the Top, as he couldn’t have played this summer.
The Big Brother 20 finale airs at 9:30/8:30c on Wednesday, September 26. That is when viewers will find out what the BB20 jury feels about this season. Then, the countdown begins to the season premiere of Celebrity Big Brother 2 this winter. It is unlikely that another season of Big Brother: Over the Top takes place, though, as the online version of the show didn’t meet with a lot of success.
