Big Brother 20 TV advertisement gets a lot of play time from CBS

CBS is working hard to make sure viewers know that Big Brother 20 starts soon. With only days left until the season premiere, the network is pulling out the stops.

Big Brother 20 TV advertising has increased in advance of the summer 2018 season. The 30-second spot is getting shown more often and now it is also starting to crisscross social media. The Big Brother Twitter page posted the video below on Sunday (June 24), but it still doesn’t give fans what they really want to see.

Where are the BB20 cast ads?

The latest Big Brother 20 TV spots are still showing cast members from past seasons. There was certainly enough drama from the last three summers to put together these advertisements, but fans are hungry to see current footage of the BB20 cast. Maybe that will come as the work week gets started. For now, the advertisement below will have to suffice.

Big Brother 20 filming has already started

As previously reported by Inside the BB House, the summer 2018 season is going to be 99 days long. The 16 new houseguests are already playing the game, meaning BB20 cast footage is available. The group entered the house toward the end of last week, allowing the production team enough time to tape the first two-hour episode. Could that footage be used for a new commercial on June 25 or 26?

It’s going to be a long summer for these new houseguests, but at least CBS has allowed them to do a lot of interviews before starting the game. That has, at least, allowed viewers to really get to know these people outside of the house. It has also led to a lot of people voting in polls for their favorite houseguest so far.

Several sources online are stating that Tyler Crispen is the first HOH winner this summer. It is typical for the first Head of Household Competition to take place before the season premiere on CBS. This could also indicate that he is close to, or already has, made the first eviction nominations of the summer. The other piece of news is that no returning houseguests have joined the game (yet).
