The full Big Brother: Celebrity Edition cast was revealed on Sunday night (January 28). Earlier in the day, host Julie Chen had hinted that fans should watch the 2018 Grammy Awards. Those fans who turned on CBS saw the full cast released during commercial breaks.

The first six cast members were revealed during the first half of the Grammy Awards. A promotional video was used to do it, with reality competition veteran Omarosa getting the royal treatment. The rest of the cast would end up being revealed during a second promotional spot. Again, Omarosa was a focal point.

The first six CBB USA cast members included American Pie actress Shannon Elizabeth, Omarosa of The Apprentice, and former NBA player Metta World Peace. TV personality Brandi Glanville, Tony winner Marissa Jaret Winokur, and Keshia Knight Pulliam from The Cosby Show are also in the mix.

Later on, the rest of the CBB USA cast was revealed. They are TV host Ross Mathews, musician Mark McGrath, former Miss Columbia Ariadna Gutierrez, and musician James Maslow (Big Time Rush). UFC legend Chuck Liddell was also announced.

When does the Celebrity Big Brother schedule get started?

The full CBB USA schedule has already been revealed. The season premiere is on February 7 and it will be a quick season. There are 11 celebrities in the house this winter, each competing for a charity.

Julie Chen will be on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert Monday night (January 29). That might be when she reveals more details about the winter season. Covering roughly three weeks in length, the expectation is that a number of double evictions could be coming. CBS is doing this season to compete with the Winter Olympics on NBC. Plus it serves as a nice bridge between summer seasons.

Now, the debate can begin about the Celebrity Big Brother cast. Will it live up to the buzz? Can the ratings turn this into a yearly event for CBS? Only time will tell.
