It’s possible that Chen will discuss Celebrity Big Brother. CBS already released the full schedule for the show. Within the schedule, the season premiere is on February 7. That doesn’t give much time for the big cast reveal, but this could be an easy promotional tool to use.

There are additional rumors of when CBS will reveal the official list. One of the rumors suggests it will take place during the Grammy Awards on January 28.

Other rumors suggest that CBS is just waiting until the week before the season premiere. The January 29 episode of Stephen Colbert’s show would qualify under that rumor. It would certainly get social media buzzing overnight. It could also be a way for Julie Chen to talk about an announcement getting made Sunday night.

That will likely take place again this winter, as CBS does battle with the Winter Olympics over on NBC.
