Celebrity Big Brother schedule: CBS reveals winter episode dates

The Celebrity Big Brother schedule was finally revealed by CBS. Fans can now plan out their winter television viewing schedule around it. The surprising news for some fans will be that they are only airing 13 total episodes.

A report by CBS states that the Celebrity Big Brother season premiere is on February 7. That’s a Wednesday evening and CBS is presenting programming against the Winter Olympics on NBC. It’s a strategy that might just pay off with new viewers for the reality competition show.

Shortened season

There are only a total of 13 episodes that will air on the Celebrity Big Brother schedule. The two-hour season finale is already scheduled for February 25 as well. That’s roughly 19 days for the entire season to play out on CBS.

What hasn’t been revealed by production is whether the new cast will enter the house early. That could add a few additional days to the winter schedule. The quick run could also be an enticing way to get bigger-named celebrities to commit to joining the cast.

Mystery cast

The Celebrity Big Brother cast is still a complete mystery. There have been celebrities rumored to have interest in the show ever since the announcement though. New Big Brother rumors suggest that Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola has already received an invite.

With a lot of time until the season premiere airs in February, that will give production plenty of time to put together an interesting cast for the fans. No details on when the CBB cast announcement will be made are available yet.
